Condolences

Condolence From: Pearl & Graham Black
Condolence: Out most sincere sympathy to Renee’s family. Renee and Ed were instrumental with us coming to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and making it our winter home. We enjoyed many wonderful happy times walking the beach at South Padre Island and enjoying a lunch or dinner afterwards, trips to Mexico, happy hours and dinners with our winter family. Renee and Ed are dearly missed.

Condolence From: Kathee Burbidge
Condolence: I taught with Renee for many years at MHHS and really admired her spirit for life and how she brought it into the classroom. Renee believed students came first in education and wasn’t afraid to challenge policies, curriculum or administrators. (Bullies didn’t stand a chance in her classroom nor staff room).

Condolence: Mrs. Foss, my grade 8 English teacher in junior high in the 1970s. I admired you and your genuine interest in good literature. Thank you for instilling in me a love for reading and even writing from my life experience. You were authentic and I aspire to be the same.
