Obituary for Blair Walter Joseph Arsenault

Blair Walter Joseph Arsenault
It is with great sorrow that the family of Blair Arsenault announce his sudden passing on Sunday, September 24th, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Blair leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life, his wife of 53 years, Dorothy; three daughters, Karla (Tim) Rissling, Tannis (Dave) Arsenault and Karen (Darren) Goodchild; six grandsons, Arlo (Samantha) Sailer, Carter Schnell, Bailey Arsenault, Christian (Veronika) Goodchild, Jaden Rissling and Arlen Rissling; five brothers, Joe, Wayne, Armand, Normand and Brian; one sister, Shirley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Blair was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Doris Arsenault; his granddaughter, Janae; and one brother, Leonard. Blair was born in St. John, New Brunswick and raised in Moncton. He moved to Thompson, Manitoba in 1962 where he worked for INCO for many years. In 1978, Blair, Dorothy and the family moved to Alberta where they still reside. Blair was a lover of country music. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He spent many hours watching their hockey games, going fishing, camping and playing pranks on them. Blair had a salty sense of humor and was making people laugh right up until the end. He had great friends and was blessed to be loved by so many. He will truly be missed.
