Miriam Patricia Haas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Short (Gary) of Medicine Hat; her brother, Morley Haas (Carol) of Qualicum Beach, BC; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special family at Riverview Care Centre. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Riverview Care Centre for all the love and care they provided Miriam over her eight-year stay with them. A Memorial Service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Medicine Hat with details forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Miriam’s memory may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada or to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
