Condolences

Condolence From: Sheila Schwab
Condolence: As the former recreation coordinator at the Valleyview I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Olinda's grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know that you all meant the world to her.
Olinda will always hold a special place in my heart and I will treasure the many memories I have of this good hearted woman.
Olinda enjoyed life and was involved in most programs at the Valleyview until her health declined.
We had such fun baking pies, kuchens and I have her air bun recipe that I use all the time. Olinda taught me to dance and she loved the musical entertainment. Even when she no longer was able to dance Olinda still thoroughly enjoyed listening to the music. Olinda enjoyed reminiscing group and amused us with her many stories of building houses with Carl and in their younger years going to dances and dancing the night away.
Olinda had a love of life.
I will always hold dear to my heart the memory of Olinda getting on the back of a motorbike when we went to Echodale for a picnic. The driver of the motorbike was tickled pink that Olinda was game for going for a ride around the park. What a good sport and sense of adventure she had.
I am blessed to have had the opportunity to know Olinda. God Bless
