Obituary for Malfridur "Julia" Reinson (Josephson)

Malfridur "Julia" Reinson of Bow Island, beloved wife of the late Robert Reinson, passed away on Monday, May 16th, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Julia leaves to cherish her memory her five children, Mona De Gagné of Foremost, Alberta, Colleen (Barrie) Korf of Airdrie, Alberta, Rodney Reinson of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Tyler Reinson (Lori Drennan) of Fort Frances, Ontario and Wyatt (Maxine) Reinson of Brandon, Manitoba; eight grandchildren, Regina De Gagné, Lucas (Lindy) De Gagné, Rhien (Debi) De Gagné, Darren Korf, Tamara (Bryan) Wright, Austin Reinson, Kyndall Reinson and Taylor Reinson; two step-grandchildren, Sara and Jake; twelve great-grandchildren, Braxton, Jeremie, Mathew, Nicolas, Christopher, Hailey, Mason, Brady, Jayden, Ethan, Cohen and Lincoln; one sister, Olive Kosher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Julia was predeceased by her husband, Robert Reinson; her parents, Hallgrimur Josephson and Carlotta Jensen; two brothers, Larry Jensen and Ernie Jensen; two sisters-in-law, Lorene Jensen and Natalie Jensen; one brother-in-law, Bill Kosher; one son-in-law, Rene De Gagné; and one daughter-in-law, Debbie Reinson. Julia was born on July 4th, 1923 in Elfros, Saskatchewan. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and volunteer work for various organizations. Julia loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family. A Private Family Time of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
