Condolence: To the Henderson Family: As others have written, I too have a great respect for Grant and all of his achievements. I have many wonderful memories of Grant and our "group of kids" from Crestwood School. Of course, there were baseball and hockey games (Lynn driving us to school from hockey practice in the morning), or when Grant, Randy and I slept on loungers in the backyard, but mostly I remember what a true friend Grant was to me, and to all. Condolence: To Grant's family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Grant was a special man. I fondly remember competing with him or against him in all sports. He always had a tremendous physique, one that we all tried to develop ourselves, but he was the champion, hands down. I am sure you have wonderful memories of him and hope any and all stories are shared as you gather to celebrate Grant's life.

Condolence: To Agnes, Karen, Tiffany, Katie and Landon, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Grant was a great leader and friend. We will always remember him with a smile. He will be sorely missed.

Condolence: So very saddened by the passing of Me Henderson. Both of our children attended Seven Persons School and had great respect for Mr Henderson. We thought that he was an excellent principle who always made time for the children and us whenever we would run into each other. He will be greatly missed!

Condolence: Our earliest memories of Grant are when he was dating Karen and we used to share some meals at Reinhardt's Restaurant. At Seven Person's School he was an effective leader but always up for some fun at the staff parties. He will be missed.

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with you Katie and your family. We only wish we could do something to ease your pain and sadness but know you have many who love you and are praying for you.

Condolence: It is with deepest and heartfelt sadness that I learn of Grant's passing. My sincere condolences to all of Grant's immediate and to the Henderson family. I knew Grant since Grade 1 as we lived on the same street and grew up together in Crestwood.(the stories) From early on he was the educator always willing to teach, and to show what could be achieved. He truly was a great athlete and I was fortunate to play hockey, baseball and football on the same teams with him. Grant always wanted all to do their best, and he encouraged them to do so. He was that leader that all of us looked up to and inspired to be. To read what he achieved as an educator only confirmed what many of us had experienced growing up. It was his natural disposition to foster a desire to succeed that helped many to do so. He inspired many in his professional life and those outside of work. His positive impact on the large number lives will be remembered, and is a true indicator of the person he was. Grant; you will be truly missed.

Condolence: So saddened to learn of Grant's death this week. I knew Grant through CASS, Zone 6. I remember a few years ago, watching him with his family at the traditional barbeque and social evening. He was dancing with his oldest daughter, a lovely memory. They were both so clearly enjoying each other.

Condolence: Debbie and the entire Henderson family. Words can't begin to express how shocked and saddened I was to hear of Grant's passing. I will always remember him as your " littlle brother ", but also as the wonderful man he became. Whenever I saw him at Alexandra School or the School Board Office, he always took the time to stop and say hi. He will be fondly remembered and forever missed. My heart breaks for each of you, you are in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest condolences.

Condolence: We were so very sorry to hear about the loss of Grant. He attended High School with Kevin and University with me. Our children, Danielle and Nikki, received an excellent education through MHSD #76. The world has lost a wonderful person who made a difference in many lives. Grant always took the time to say "hello" and his friendly, easygoing nature will be missed.

Condolence: I was very saddened to here of Grant's passing. My condolence's go out to the Henderson family. Having grown up in Crestwood with him and going thru elementary school thru to graduation Grant was always a good friend. His athletic prowess was second to none! I should know as he beat me out for a city badminton championship. I also played football with him and although the best player on our team and probably Medicine Hat he was always humble. Grant was a wonderful person who touched the lives of so many people. He will truly be missed.

Condolence: We were so saddened to hear the news of Grant's passing. We have fond memories of Grant--for Sue he was one of her exceptional students at MHC and for Donna many memories while working together at Seven Persons School. Grant leaves a legacy of having touched many lives, he lived fully and with passion. May we all live in that example of a life well lived, appreciated and loved.

Condolence: I'm shocked and saddened to hear this news. My deepest condolences go out to the family. I went to high school with Grant, and we both graduated from Hat High in the class of 1979. He was a star on the Hat High football team, and was very popular and well liked by everyone in high school. He was nice to everyone. I became a teacher too, and was proud to hear that Grant had become the superintendent of the Medicine Hat school district. What an accomplishment! It was also well known in educational circles what wonderful things he was accomplishing there. May the love of family, friends and the community surround you in this time of grief.

Condolence: Condolences to the entire Henderson family. I haven't seen Grant for many years, but have good memories of him when growing up in Crestwood and while at MHHS. A very nice man taken too soon. RIP Grant.
